The Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries (CSCS) was founded to provide its members with the tools necessary to become experts in the practice of Corporate Secretarial and Shareholder Communication Services.  CSCS is a not-for-profit national association of business executives and professionals from public, private, crown and not-for-profit corporations in Canada and the U.S.  The CSCS' goal is to create a high profile organization for corporate secretaries and shareholder services professionals in Canada

CSCS wishes to congratulate Talia Dabby, the winner of the Joyce Borden-Reed Scholarship at McMaster University.   

The scholarship was established by CSCS in partnership with Computershare Canada, to honor of one of its founding board members. The prize is to be awarded to a student in the McMaster MBA program with outstanding scholarly activity and who demonstrates an affinity for, or illustrates interest, achievement, leadership, involvement, or extra curricular activities in relation to governance and governance issues. 

TaliaTalia is currently in her final semester of the MBA Co-op Program at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University.  She previously attended the University of Western Ontario where she received an Honors Bachelor degree in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources.  As the end of the MBA program nears, Talia is planning to complete the requirements for a Certified Human Resource Practitioner (CHRP) designation. 
Talia is also excited to begin a full-time position as a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers.  This position will provide the opportunity to utilize her knowledge and experience in a unique way, in an environment that thrives on learning.

For just $300.00 (plus GST) a year, visibility can be yours on either the CSCS website or the monthly e-newsletter which goes out to our members  and our network of contacts. 
If you are interested in advertising in both for increased visibility, a package rate of $50.00 per month, or an annual charge of $500.00 is available. 
You can also post a press release or an advertorial article on the monthly e-newsletter.
The fees are:
  • $150 per banner ad per newsletter, or $1,000 for all issues in the year
  • $350 for an advertorial or advertising article
